AMD betting heavily on Windows 8 and high-end tablets
AMD is not interested in entering the low-cost tablet market and will rely on Windows 8 as it tries to find its bearings in the fast-growing tablet market, the company said. The company is looking to make a mark in tablets priced starting at around $499 or $599, said Lisa Su, senior vice president and general manager of global business units at AMD, in an interview from the International CES trade show in Las Vegas on Tuesday. Dropbox to be included on all Samsung flagship phones
Dropbox on Wednesday announced tighter integration of its cloud storage and file-sharing service with Samsung products, from smartphones to televisions. Dropbox said the deeper integration includes several new Samsung devices, such as the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Grand smartphone and smart cameras. Samsung cameras will automatically push the photos to Dropbox's cloud storage service. Read More

Adobe patches 28 critical vulnerabilities in Flash Player, Reader, and Acrobat
Adobe Systems released new versions of Flash Player, Adobe Reader, and Adobe Acrobat on Tuesday in order to address a total of 28 critical security vulnerabilities in the software products. The newly released Flash Player versions are: Flash Player 11.5.502.146 for Windows and Mac, Flash Player 11.2.202.261 for Linux, Flash Player 11.1.115.36 for Android 4.x, and Flash Player 11.1.111.31 for Android 3.x and earlier versions. Microsoft exec defends Windows 8 sales pace
