The New iPad: Does This Change Anything?

Yesterday saw the announcement of a new iPad model from Apple, to improve upon its iPad 2 model released just last year. So, with months of expectation coming to a head, did we get what we had hoped for? Well, it turned out not to be the iPad 3 or iPad HD that many had speculated upon. In this blog post, I look at the new tablet's launch, and discuss whether the hype was worth it or if it just served to overshadow the launches of potentially more ground breaking products, namely the Raspberry Pi and Windows 8.
