We've put together the best iPhone and iPad apps you may've missed during your busy work week. This week, we have an excellent selection of new apps, like an app that could replace your iPad's music app, an app to get your MineSweeper fix, and the app that's the spiritual predecessor to the ultra successful Halo video games. We even have an app that lets you start recording video on your iPhone within a second of unlocking your phone so you never miss a moment. Plus much more. The Hit List is the cousin of the cult favorite Mac app by the same guys The Hit List is outrageously expensive for a to do list app, but it might just be the best one there is. Oh, and there's a $1.99/month or $19.99/year subscription you'll need to buy if you want to sync through the cloud. The Hit List looks great, has useful tagging features, and excellent syncing with the also outrageously expensive desktop Hit List app. Price: $9.99
Instacolor is just what it sounds like... ...a mix of crowd favorite Instagram and universally loathed Color (which had great location-aware features). It takes the best qualities of both apps and synthetsizes them to create something new and cool. Log in using your Instagram credentials, then browse other users' geo-tagged Instagram pictures on a map. This is definitely more fun than tapping a hashtag someone includes in their photo caption. Price: $0.99
Groove for iPad plays your music in style and provides recommendations Now that Apple is letting developers scan a user's onboard music library, some pretty snazzy new music player apps are coming out. Groove not only looks polished, but Groove creates custom mixes based on the music you listen to. The app downloads missing album covers, artist photos, and even streams songs you might like from Last.fm. Price: $1.99
