We've amassed the best apps for iPhone and iPad you may've missed during your busy week. Apps you might want to play this holiday weekend.

We have an incredible app for making music, an app that lets you browse your entire Facebook history, and the best looking instant messaging app you can buy.

Plus, much more.

Verbs 1.0 was the best-looking instant messaging app, but it was messing something critical

With version 2.0 of Verbs, the developer has added push notification functionality via an in-app purchase so you can stay signed in for up to a week.

Verbs looks amazing, and provides only the functionality you need for quick IM'ing, with no crazy customization. Once nice feature is the ability to send links you receive over IM to Instapaper.

Price: $2.99 (push notifications added via $4.99 in-app purchase, which totals $7.98, less than $9.99 competitor BeeJive IM)

Continuity 2 is a puzzle inside of a puzzle

There are a million iPhone and iPad games out there, and Continuity 2 doesn't look like any of them. Well, besides the game it's the sequel to, of course.

In Continuity 2 for iPhone and iPad, you re-arrange a video game level to enable your character to make it through to find the key and open the red door.

It's a lot of fun, and makes you think outside the box. Many levels don't just include paths to take, but also electrical wires that you must connect. It's a real challenge.

Price: $0.99

MyLine for iPad digs into your Facebook past

MyLine is a new iPad app that takes raw Facebook data and displays it in terms of beautiful graphics, timelines, and maps even.

You can view one month at a time looking back through your entire Facebook history to check out status updates, photos, check-ins, and more.

The app isn't perfect quite yet and has some weird bugs, but it's a unique trip into your Facebook history that you'll probably want to take.

Price: $1.99
